MEET OUR
CULTURE CHAMPION
KERIM SARICICEK

Share

Kerim Saricicek is one of our Culture Champions at NEVEON. But what exactly does that mean, and what does a Culture Champion actually do? Culture Champions are dedicated colleagues who recognize the importance of a cohesive and high-performing company culture for the success of their business. Their role is to strengthen NEVEON’s company culture at their respective locations and integrate it directly into everyday work life.

Career Path of the Culture Champion
Kerim grew up in Kremsmünster, Austria, and still lives there with his family. He has known the premises of our parent company Greiner, which also houses one of our office buildings and one of our foam production facilities, since childhood. "The company and the Greiner family have always been a constant presence in the lives and community of the people in the town," Kerim tells us in the interview. When he applied for a position in internal sales in 2018, Kerim joined our team. "It was the way I was welcomed into the company with open arms that left a lasting impression on me," he explains. In 2020, Kerim became Head of Customer Service at pactec, and today he serves as Head of Sales Packaging & Acoustics in the Specialties Turnkey Solutions division at NEVEON.

Culture Comes First
Kerim has a strong interest in leadership and culture topics and has read and researched extensively on these subjects. When you talk to him, you can sense how important it is for him that the company culture is brought to life and filled with actions every single day.

Transparency in Communication
We asked Kerim where he sees potential for improvement as a Culture Champion. His answer came swiftly: "In daily communication. In such a fast-paced time, marked by so many changes, transparency in everyday communication and understandable information for all team members are especially important." After a brief moment of reflection, Kerim adds: "Beside that I follow the philosophy of Richard Branson, who said: There is no magic formula for creating a great company culture. The key is just to treat your staff how you would like to be treated. That's the principle I live by."

How He Recharges His Batteries
As a father of three, Kerim primarily recharges his batteries by spending time with his family. His passion for photography is also evident in the photos displayed here.

Thank you Kerim, for your dedication!
