The economic transfer of the sold entities to the Trèves Group is now complete. These entities include Greiner Perfoam GmbH in Enns (Austria), Greiner Perfoam GmbH in Linz (Austria), Greiner Perfoam s.r.o. at the locations in Tabor and Valašské Meziříči (Czechia), Greiner Perfoam Automotive Components, S. de R.L. de C.V. in Mexico and the two joint ventures Shenyang Greiner Automotive Components Co., Ltd. and Tianjin Greiner Automotive Components in China.
Henning Frings appointed new Executive Vice President of Mobility and Specialties
The sale marks NEVEON’s withdrawal from the OEM automotive business to focus on its vertically integrated foam core business in Living & Care (mattresses, upholstered furniture and health care applications) and Mobility & Specialties (Aviation, Railway and a wide range of special foam applications, such as for boiler insulations, technical foams and composite foams). At the same time, Henning Frings (35) is taking over leadership of the Mobility & Specialties business unit in the role of Executive Vice President. He succeeds Martin Etzlstorfer, who will continue in his role as Managing Director of Perfoam within the Trèves Group. “Henning Frings has impressively demonstrated his outstanding management capabilities in recent years and we are delighted to have appointed such an experienced and committed manager from within our own ranks. We believe that Henning is the ideal fit for the role – on a professional and personal level. We thank Martin Etzlstorfer for the considerable personal commitment he has shown over the past years and wish him every success in his new professional challenge,” said Jürgen Kleinrath, CEO of NEVEON.
After studying in Freiburg (Germany) and completing an extra-occupational MBA at the University of St. Gallen, Henning Frings worked at a number of international companies including Amcor Flexibles, Jindal Films and Edelmann Group. The experienced professional joined NEVEON in 2020 as Director of Corporate Development before being promoted to General Manager for Aviation & Railway in 2022. “I’m looking forward to supporting NEVEON as the new EVP of Mobility & Specialties and leading the areas Aviation, Railway, Turnkey Solutions and Base Materials. I’d like to thank NEVEON and our parent company Greiner for the trust they have placed in me. We will work hand in hand with our customers, partners and suppliers to continue generating added value and enhancing quality of life with our products and services,” said the father of two.
